The Laurels for University:
UNIVERSITY OF SINDH JAMSHORO
December 17: Gymnastics team of the university of Sindh,
Jamshoro participated in the HEC Inter-Universities Gymnastic
Championship 2007 held at the GCU Lahore on 10th and 11th December
2007. Ten Universities of Pakistan participated in the
championship; among them were the GCU Lahore, Punjab University,
University of Karachi, University of Central Punjab, Superior
University Lahore, and the University of Sindh Jamshoro. The Sindh
University team comprised of:
Akhtar Hussain Markhand (Team
Manager)
Shahbaz (Team Coach)
Nadeem Hussain (Player)
Hizqeel (Player)
University of Sindh team stood 3rd in the team event competitions,
while in the individual Competitions University of Sindh secured
Gold Medal in the event of Floor. President of the Gymnastic
Federation of Pakistan was the chief guest at the prize distribution
ceremony.

The
Vice Chancellor, University of Sindh Mr. Mazhar-ul- Haq Siddiqui
received the shield of excellence in the field of education at the
Fourth Convocation of Isra University Hyderabad on February 24th,
2007. The gatherting was presided by Prf. Dr. Ghulam Qadir Kazi,
Chairmen of Isra Islamic Foundation and Chancellor of Isra
University. The chief Guest was Dr. S.M. Qureshi, Chairmen of
Charter Inspection and evoluation committee of the Govt: of Sindh.
Mr. Mazhar-ul-Haq Siddiqui received the Lifetime achievement
award for his meritorious services in the field of education. The
